Shippin’ Aint Easy – Watch the Holy Ship 2015 Recap Video

There is a sense of belonging when you are on the ship, and a sense of mutual respect, love and detachment from reality. There is no phone service, and WIFI costs a small fortune – it is the one place you will find thousands of young people communicating for 3 to 4 days straight without a screen in sight. There are babes everywhere, and there seems to be a mutual respect for the human body too – nudity is very common and not at all a big deal.

Each year is better than the last. Each year seems to get bigger, louder, brighter, wilder. This years official Holy Ship recap video is here and it’s one for the ages. Whether you are only just hearing about this floating music haven, or if you are an avid Shipper returning year after year, this video is sure to inspire your wild side…

This is the official recap video that HARD / HOLYSHIP has released since the festival split into two sailings over January and February for the first time this year and it seems to have more of a script/structure than previous years – this years recap is almost like a HOLYSHIP walk-through.

Opening up onto a scene of Valentino Khan sitting in the reception area of the MSC Divina (at the same piano this happened " target="_blank">last year) starts the recap video up with a sense of artist to fan interaction. And it only gets better from there, the video follows patrons and artists around the boat and private islands to really give a sense of what these weekends are like. This video even gives you a brief understanding of what it’s like when that cabin door shuts behind you and you realize you are about to make all new friends with strangers, but how did you end up in their room?? Is this a bit too real/personal???

Hosted by Gary RichardsHARD Events, Cloud 9, and The Bowery Presents, departing from Miami early January and February each year, Holy Ship is a boutique music festival held on the MSC Divina Cruiseliner Ship.

The Australian presence is very strong on board with Wax Motif, Anna Lunoe, What So Not, Tommy Trash, Motez and Flume having graced the line-up, alongside the already all-star international roster of artists.

Each year since its first voyage, patrons from previous sailings have returned time and time again, they get priority to pre-book and public sale turns into a “wait-list”. The attendee’s refer to each-other as “SHIPFAM”, as do the artists that have been and continue to be on the lineup roster each sailing.

Watch Holy Ship’s official 2015 recap video .be" target="_blank">HERE. This 10 minute reel sums up Holy Ship in all its insane and beautiful glory and if you start thinking about joining the #shipfam for next years voyage, you may have left it a little late, but take a chance and join the Holy Ship Waitlist

From packed out pool decks, sunrise sermons with endless B2B’s and the best buffet on the high seas, why aren’t you shippin’ yet?
