New Daft Punk Doco To Showcase Rare Archived Footage

Daft Punk pandemonium keeps growing after their recent run of retro merch, with a new hour long documentary based on the duo airing on French TV this month.

The first of its kind documentary, titled ‘Daft Punk: Unchained’ will look at the 20+ years of the iconic duo and will directed and co-written by Hervé Martin Delpierre.

With an an air-date of June 24 on French television station Canal+, the feature length doco is rumoured to include rare archived footage from Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Todd Edwards, Giorgio Moroder and Nile Rodgers.

Other big names in the show include Skrillex, Pete Tong, photographer Peter Lindbergh, director Michel Gondry, former manager Pedro Winter and more.

There will also be a new theme song created by Joseph Trapanese who worked on the Tron Legacy music with the robots.
