Perth Just Out-Perthed Itself By Having A Rave At A KFC

With the world looking to healthier food and in turn lifestyles, the fast food landscape has taken a hit with diminishing store locations and managers owners opting out of serving buckets of battered goodness.

Cue local Perth promoter Get Weird, who true to their name decided to throw a pop-up rave at a KFC franchise that was days away from closure and dubbed it the ‘tiny KFClub’.

What started out as an in-store boogie for around 40 people exploded to over a 1000 attendees via the Facebook event. With the huge numbers promoters were worried about the dangers and cancelled the salty rave.

In some sort of fairytale ending, promoters did a 180 and said they’d bring the gear if people brought the gravy groove with the evidence all captured on video!

The result was almost 200 people dancing away to some funky cuts for around two hours until the thing came to a oily end.

Any hangovers at the end would have been quickly stamped out with a bucket of the kernels finest!

Someone even nabbed the KFC letters from the dumpster.
