Stream Scuba’s new album ‘Claustrophobia’

Stoney guide to listening: Go to a quiet room. Pull the curtains. Cover yourself in some sort of rug/blanket concoction. Put on a pair of obnoxiously large insulating headphones and then stream the fuck out of this album.

We don’t mean to actually give you a serious case of claustrophobia, but this is one that demands undivided attention. As we’ve learned from his previous projects, Scuba makes music that is above all things, considered. To pinpoint a given sound on ‘Claustrophobia’ is difficult – especially if you want to stray from those tediously generic titles of ‘deep’ or ‘heavy’. As you navigate your way through each track, a return to normalcy appears ever-increasingly difficult to comprehend.

To be released on his own Hotflush records on Monday – Resident Advisor have provided exclusive streaming via their Soundcloud below.
