It’s been a long time between drinks with Hudson Mohawke’s last album dropping 6 years ago in 2009. So it’s with excitement that Scotland’s most trappy dude you will ever meet is gearing for his follow up LP launch. Bout bloody time M8!

Having spent numerous years working on singles + his collaboration with Lunice for TNGHT and slamming out shows like this in Sydney, we can spill the new LP is called ‘Lantern’ and contains 14 monster tracks, many of which feature collaborations with artists such as Irfane, Ruckazoid & Devaeux, Antony, Miguel and Jhené Aiko.

On the direction of his album HudMo says

“I wanted to make a classic – at least for me and my friends. I never wanted to be any genre. I wanted to be my own thing. Everything.” – Could we see the man moving away from his harder sound?
