Turns out Grimes is sitting on a lot of unreleased music, almost ‘1000 gigs’ after the Canadian singer was forced to clear up claims she canned her album due to negative fan feedback.

Taking to her tumblr she spilled that the release of her hotly anticipated sophomore album was pulled because she was personally unhappy with it and unwilling to tour off the back of it.

The plus side was her claims that she’s sitting on ‘almost 1000 gigs’ of music on her hard drive but wants “the next album to be as good as possible ” with only “4 people on earth who have heard my new music” – hype!

We recently heard a new-old track “REALiTi” that didn’t make the cut from her debut but got us all kinds of dizzy thinking we were heading towards an official announce.
