Most nightclubs have a few forms of memorabilia, commemorative trinkets, tshirts, postcards and the like. But there’s a new type of merchandise now available in tribute to Berlin’s notorious nightclub Berghain.

Introducing Birdhain, a Berghain-shaped bird box. The perfect gift or home appliance for all the ornithologically-inclined ravers out there.

Malte Jensen is a Berlin-based designer who created the Berghain birdbox to pay homage to the clubbing Mecca. Not only is it shaped like the building, but come nightfall, bright purple and blue lights decorate the exterior.

Hopefully the birds won’t have to face the same kind of intense scrutiny that hopeful clubbers experience when attempting to woo the infamously hard-to-please bouncers.
