The Best Kickstarter Of The Week Is Already Here

A father and son operation out of Seattle is looking for funding to turn their ‘hobby’ of building handmade wooden turntables into a real deal operation!

Each turntable is a one off with each individual section of wood selected and paired with English audio components from Reva for a seriously lustful piece of kit.

It doesn’t stop there with Silvan Audio Workshop describing the quality and precision they pour into other components;

The glass platter shows off the beautiful wood, but it’s also heavy for speed stability and made for precision. The tonearm is a result of masterful engineering, designed to move your music all the way to your speakers just the way it was intended to be heard. The belt drive system is made with precision to deliver low vibration, low noise, and highly accurate speed.

It comes in three models, with better quality parts in each starting with the The Archer then The Champion and lastly the The Sampo which “is the ultimate expression of the Silvan line”.

They are looking for a grand total of $14,000 to outfit their two-table workshop to speed up efficiency and output for both father and son with pledging starting at an easy $1 all the way up to $2,5000 that’ll get you The Sampo delivered to your door.

Check out the kickstarter here and a handful of images below. Would you buy one?
