But not just any DJ can shake the ice off, after personal experience this weekend we can confidently say Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones has what it takes to thaw out an entire city at the very least.

Jamie Jones is one of those names in dance the instantly turns heads. Truly a tastemaker, the guy is often mentioned as a movement leader. Dubbed as the new sound of house; Jamie, his label, and supergroup have made mainstream success while sticking to the roots of dance music. Signed by Pete Tong himself on the hit single with Hot Natured, Jamie has proven himself while keeping it classy all the while.

Jumping into the limelight in 2012, Jones was rated top dawg by the underground educator Resident Advisor Dj poll. Leading the way in the house revival, his A&R skills with Lee Foss paved a path of quality as releases rolled (and continue) in on Hot Creations. The label is no doubt an influencer with their coined palm tree logo, a symbol of talent across the globe.

A seasoned vet on the white isle, Jones and co. have done it right with instant classic residency at DC10. Frequenting Ibiza, the Jamie’s crew have more than a few notches in the belt including an iconic villa party that went down as one of the best Boiler Rooms ever. Maybe it’s the Ibiza-channeled heat, maybe it’s the Welsh afro, or maybe it’s the handful of hits he has in his quiver, but I can confidently say that the Resident Advisor Number 1 Dj warmed up more people that a Manhattan apartment fire at his recent extended set for the packed crown of Space New York.

A true selector, Jamie’s sets are a warm welcome at hit maker events around the world. Whether he’s on his own or tag teaming with friends, his dedication to music rather than showmanship keep the attention on the decks and feet moving on the floor. He might not be the most active producer on the market, but you can bet your ass every tune is a fire starter.

Promising a full season of Paradise, Jamie already plans to hit almost every major festival for the summer: Ultra, Timewarp, Hideout, Ibiza Residency… the list goes on and on.
