The Prodigy is back: Listen to their first tune since 2009, ‘Nasty’

The Prodigy first announced plans for a follow-up to their last album ‘Invaders Must Die’ back in 2012, an album then entitled ‘How To Steal A Jet Fighter’. Since then, they’ve cancelled plans to heist military equipment but have remained as martial as ever, renaming the album ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ and readying it for release veryyy soon. March 30 to be exact, on their Take Me To The Hospital imprint.

It’s gonna be 14 tracks, and will feature collaborations with lo-fi punks Sleaford Mods and dubstep regular Flux Pavillion. What’s more, the Godfathers of Rave have described it as “the meanest record we’ve ever made.” (!!)

The lead single “Nasty” came to the surface overnight, and it’s as heavy as you’d expect after a 6-year hiatus. Check it out below, and pre-order the album here. YYEOOOWW!!

They’ll also be playing this years Future Music Festival alongside Gorgon City, Tchami, Stoney Roads DJs and more.
