National rock, indie, acoustic and dance festival Falls has been amidst controversy with American rapper Joey Badass ending up on the wrong side of the law just prior to his set.

Real name Jo-Vaughn Jalani Virginie got a little too aggressive with a security guard at the Byron Bay leg around 8:30pm on Saturday night with a Lismore Police officer reporting;

“A 20-year-old man was allegedly punched in the face by a man while working as a security guard at the festival, the man was treated for a broken nose and other facial injuries.”

AAAAND it doesn’t get better for the man… “He was refused bail and appeared at Lismore Bail Court on Saturday,”

With the Brooklyn based brain snapping idiot fronting people in Australia, this makes for bad PR for his fourth coming B.4.Da.$$. album due for release soon. But as they say, any PR is good PR. Let’s hope this is not the last time he comes to Australia, which it very well could be..
