Deadmau5 has just released a short documentary, reflecting on his (and his Purrari’s) time at the Gumball 3000, an epic annual 3000 mile international motor rally. If you’re unaware of the Gumball 3000, I highly recommend looking it up now. it’s fucking epic.

The rally started in Miami and ended in Ibiza. They drove from Miami to New York City. Then, entrants and cars were all flown via charetered plane to Edinburgh, and drove through London, Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza.

It was a pretty treacherous few days by the sound of it – Deadmau5 lost his wallet somewhere in Europe and was therefore unable to drive for the rest of the trip to Ibiza. Regardless, Mau5 and co-driver Tory Belleci won the event and were crowned with the “Spirit of Gumball”

As you might expect, the soundtrack to the mini-doco is predominantly tracks from Deadmau5’s 2014 album While (1<2). There’s also cameos from David Hasselhoff and Xzibit! Check out Gumball’s official website for more information, videos of each day of the race, news, photos and more.
