Australian bae Wave Racer has been caught out playing an unreleased collaboration with Norway dance sensation Lido at a recent show.

He was playing at the Showbox Sodo in Washington over the weekend when a keen fan picked up those glossy synths and chopped chiptune vocals knowing it was something special.

It was actually Lido who spotted the track in its unfinished form posting to his socials “Hey Wave Racer you sneak playing our song before it’s even done?? <33”

To be honest this could have been an original from each of the youngsters and we’d still be over the moon. Wave Racer is currently making the USA his plaything after a string of dates supporting Chromeo of all people.

Now it hear this live… Well fans in Sydney and Melbourne can catch Lido at the Xmas Weekender in December playing hopefully a finished version alongside SOPHIE, HWLS, Nadus, QT and UV Boi.
