Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain festival has returned with much fanfare boasting an extensive lineup of dance and electronic alongside seminal indie, rock and psychedelic acts.

ODESZA lead the electronic front having also announced a vast Australian tour, they’ll appear alongside disco purveyors Soul Clap, Horse Meat Disco, The 2 Bears and wild-man Dan Deacon – bringing with him his assortment of electronic toys we hope!

They’ll be joined by Aussie legends Midnight Juggernauts, Kitsune first lady Chela as well as Oscar Key Sung teaming up with Cassius Select and Melbourne four piece Rat & Co.

A biggie on the lineup will be New York rapper Nas who’ll be performing his debut album ‘Illmatic’ released in 1994 in full, a first if we’re correct. Other notable mentions on the lineup including Ariel Pink, How To Dress Well who recently teamed up with RL Grime, Banoffee, Twerps and an assortment of visual artists.

It all goes down Saturday the 24th January with tickets on-sale Monday the 20th of October through the official site. There you can get yourself an early bird ticket at $120 + BF or general release at $130 + BF with only 5,200 tickets available.

There is of course a better option with the ‘Executive Sweet’ ticket that’ll guarantee you to beat the queues, a lounge area to kick back with toilets and what not as well as two drinks on Sugar Mountain. That’ll set you back $195 + BF and there are only 300 so don’t expect those to last long.
