Flosstradamus along with Chicago cohort Aryay have remixed a recent SBTRKT collaborator with a surprising twist on their usual trap sound.

Much like the more melodic and ambient effort on their stoner anthem “Rebound” their remix of Atlanta rapper Raury who features on our favourite SBTRKT cut “Higher” has skewed away from the big and banging and instead opted for a beat for the ‘pre party, iPods’ and even in some cases the ‘dancefloor’ as explained by the trap duo;

Raurys recent explosion in popularity is well founded with many accepting his more soft spoken delivery and profound lyrics versus the horde of harder hitting rappers. On the flip if this is where Flosstradamus are heading we can’t help but feel like it’s the right thing to do with slightly more digestible beats outside of the club.
