Montreal-based Eekkoo has just released a new single, “Elysium.” The 29-year-old sound engineer/producer is set to drop his new EP ‘Hell Is Other People’ mid-October under Deadmau5’s Mau5trap records. (fun fact – he was reportedly the first guy that Deadmau5 ever followed on Soundcloud)

As you might expect from any production overseen by the ‘mau5, this is one edgy, industrial track. And that BASS. IT DRIVES. It carries the track the whole way through, slithering along, way under the radar.

With featured vocals from Sweden’s own Sailor & I, the unnervingly repetitive vocal loops are strange, interesting, and about as catchy as a song like this can be.

This track is dark, deep and sexy. I like it a lot.
