After launching our very own Remix competition with Kilter and AIM back in March, we received hundreds of track submissions and honestly thought that we’d heard it all. However in saying that, we then stumbled across this video by Hatch featuring his version of Kilter’s ‘They Say’, and were very impressed with what we heard.

For those of you scratching your heads, Hatch is a Sydney talent, a skilled producer and musician who’s layering style using live instruments has produced some formidable tracks. After gracing us with his remixes of Duke Dumont, " target="_blank">RUFUS and JamXPress, he has now released a strong remix of Kilter’s ‘They Say’. The video clip takes us on a visual run through of the musical components of the track, displaying Hatch’s diversity of talents.

As you watch the clip below you’ll notice Hatch is not alone, supported by the very capable and talented Zuri Akoko on vocals, who’s name again may be new to you yet we are sure that you will begin to see it popping up more often.

The in-the-studio style, sultry vocals and top notch composition all comes together to form one solid tune. We dig it.
