Since the Stoney Roads Awards launched mid last week, we’ve been having some inquiries into how they work. So, to help answer all the main questions with all our friends, family and Australia wide dance community, here’s a little guide on how the awards work!

How have the producers been picked to be voted for?

The criteria is as followed

– Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or resident
– Must have released a single, EP or album on any of the selected labels* in the last 12 months,
– Each label has been given an allocation of producer nominees in this years awards based on the label’s size measured by number of producers with releases on the label in the last 12 months.

*Labels in alphabetical order
Club Mod, Create/Control, Die High Records, Elefant Traks, EMI, etcetc, Future Classic, Inertia Access, Modular, Motorik, Neon Records, October Records, Onelove, Pilerats, Pilot Records, Plastic World, Siloarts, Sweat It Out, Universal Music Australia, Vicious Recordings, Xelon Entertainment, ZTN

How do I vote?

Simply click on the sign up tab on the Awards page and you will be granted 5 points to vote with for your 5 favourite producers of 2013/14. In doing so you will also go into the chance to win;

Prize 1 – 1 x Pioneer DDJSR & 2 x Pioneer SDJ60X (1 Pair)

Prize 2 – 1 x Pioneer DDJWEGO2 K + a pair of custom SOL REPUBLIC ‘Stoney Roads’ Headphones

Prize 3 – 1 x Pioneer DDJSB + a pair of custom SOL REPUBLIC ‘Stoney Roads’ Headphones

Runners Up – 5 x Custom SOL REPUBLIC ‘Stoney Roads’ Headphones! (Design to be revealed soon!)

When does voting end?

You must sign up and vote by Sunday the 3rd of August 2014 11pm (AEST) to be eligible to win any of the prizes.

When will the winners for the prizes (for participating) be chosen?

The winners will be drawn and contacted on Monday the 4th of August 2014.
