Elaksi, is a 20 year old producer from Finland. Stepping away from the Jersey Club sound trending in Scandinavia from players such as Cashmere Cat and Lido, Elaksi has been making quite an impression one future bass track at a time. His remix of STWO’s “Lovin You,” edit of Drake’s “Days in the East” and original, “Want You,” has turned a large portion of heads and ears. Adding another feather in his cap, he has received support from Soulection’s radio show, featuring his record “Want You” in recent episode #178. It’s no surprise that his latest installment, “Lanes” is following suit!
“Lanes” is another bass-infused record that builds up in anticipation throughout until the drop finally reveals itself. Like a breathe of fresh air, it is exactly what you’d hope it to sound like; fluttering hi-hats, a sexy plucked lead synth, and strategically placed vocal samples to fill the ambiance.
