Ta-Ku is a producer Australia can be truly proud of calling its own. The ever-stylish beatmaker has enjoyed ridiculous success over the last couple of years, penning remixes for names like Justin Timberlake and Flume, along with redefining the break-up song (and soon the make-up song) with a steady stream of his own productions. Now, he’s taken on something truly unique, and in a world where creativity reigns it’s something to get genuinely excited about.

Entitled “Create & Explore”, the project is described by Ta-Ku as “A conversation between mediums. From visual to auditory, beat makers are paired with photographers to create and explore the power of creative collaboration.” The project has only just been launched but it’s fair to say that what they’ve come up with is insanely cool. The first video is like something from a dream, combining an enchanting ESTA track with some of the best shots of Chicago you’re ever likely to see (courtesy of photographer Michael Salisbury) to create something close to an urban fantasy.
