Over the weekend one young lad felt the ultimate high by falling nearly 80m while trying to sneak into a rural bush doof.

The 17-year old was camping along with friends when they stumbled upon New South Wales forrest party Solstium Shadows, a three-day dance event that looks to celebrate the astral winter solstice.

After being refused entry for not having the proper ticketing (hint: a $50 donation) that group decided they still wanted in, navigating the treacherous bush at night with only a single lighter that resulted in one of the youth falling 80m off a cliff through brush and seriously injuring himself and probably matching a similar time for a Usain Bolt 100m dash.

Thankfully within hours an emergency rescue team was on hand to help the youngster at around 4:15am for the retrieve that involved ropes and cutting various tiers of bush that probably helped saved his life.

The teen was airlifted and currently receiving treatment John Hunter Hospital where he remains in serious condition – heavy.
