Ten Walls is undoubtedly one of the current leading artists loitering on the realms of experimental house music.
Quietly elusive, Ten Walls’ 2013 release Innervisions and Life & Death – including tracks ‘Gotham’ and ‘Requiem’ – blew up on the club scene, surprising audiences and the industry alike that experimental and technically complex music can gain mass commercial support and enjoyment.
Interviewed in the at the Computer Games Museum in Berlin (SNAKE!), Ten Walls talks about his professional music background and training, the importance of the tangibility of vinyl releases and the dismissal of classical music skill in modern dance music.
Apart from the enthusiastic host with the happy hands at the beginning, it’s a great video and gives the viewer some great insight into the craft and processes of a leading producer.
