Italian producer Phonat who now calls London home is finally getting his just deserves with his ‘Never’ EP – released on Skrillexs OWSLA label and ONELOVE locally nabbing an addition on national indie radio station Triple J and surely indicating a turning tide to his slick  production.

The ‘Never’ EP is four-track release that comprises  of two originals and two remixes, the prior of which flirts with the dimensions of electronic and Hip-Hop music as it bends trip-hop into breaks and back again. The EP also boasts two carefully crafted remixes, one from Asa & Sorrow that bonks harder than a punch to the throat while Icarus works on the funk elements really utilising the slappy base and a bunch of snares – nice!

Triple J also played host to a mix up exclusive from the man that we’re hanging out to post as he stitched together beats and remixes from Kartell, Oliver, Kaytranada, Moon Boots and more.
