Following a massive ‘secret warehouse’ tour announce comes Alison Wonderlands undoubtedly clever remix of fellow Australian lads Crooked Colours and their latest “Come Down” that’ll most certainly have you double-take.
We’ve been raving on about Crooked Colours for a while now as a go-to for slick indie-dance – extra gold stars for getting throwback electro dudes Grafton Primary to remix ya and at this point feels extra special having the talented hands and ideas of Alison Wonderland purposely mirror a catchy RnB hit that’ll make sense about 0.50 in.
Chopping and bending the vocals while adding claps and a sub-bassline you’ll soon start to realise AW has purposely tried to mimic Kendrick Lamars “Drank” even adding her own vocal hey to the business. We’re not sure if its done before but we like it!
Other remixes will drop courtesy of Jesse Rose, Yolanda Be Cool and Wordlife come April 4th on bro’s for life Sweat It Out
