Australia’s biggest dance and electronic festival Stereosonic has announced dates and ticket details for this year’s event surprisingly early for what will be a November start.

The two-day format will be retained with overlap for Sydney and Perth dates, while Adelaide will run into both Melbourne and Brisbane dates – a clever move once again logistically in transporting artists around the country versus running it over an additional weekend.

Even without a line-up punters will be able to purchase tickets as early as March through Ticketmaster before the official announce in July sometime.

Last year’s festival saw a menagerie of artists playing with Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, David Guetta, Boy Noize, Tommy Trash and more all entertaining crowds around Australia. Unfortunately with the good times came the bad, with 100+ arrested in Sydney and 130+ arrested in Melbourne.

Interestingly enough goliath promotions company SFX Entertainment – who have been buying up large in the dance sector (Beatport, Electric Zoo, I-Motion) – purchased 100% of Totem Onelove, the parent company of Stereosonic mid-last year for a whopping sum of $60 million.

What does this mean for the 2014 event? Bigger names, bigger production, bigger everything!
