Update: spell out ‘Cut The Kid’ to get the free track, screenshot below.

Young French producer Madeon has decided to give away a free track, unfortunately not from his forthcoming record but one he ‘made a couple of years ago’ – in the womb?… that is, only if you can crack the code.

The video for “Cut The Kid” has already been uploaded and can be streamed but for those wanting to get their filthy hands on it might have to wait a tad longer until someone clever enough figures out the cryptic line-sorta game on his official site (hint: we’ve got two of the boxes, you can also highlight the outer rim, guessing it’ll be a set of number, check below).

It’s a rather funky production and a whole lot of fun that really showcases a young French sound. Could see plenty of support from the Parasian dance community be it Breakbot of Sebastien Tellier but ready for the main festival stage too.

Real talk: he’s been working on other peoples albums and found that interesting to get out ‘beyond’ the electronic side of things which could influence his own debut. That and he wants to work with Kanye West!
