This is a weird release, but impressively diverse at the same time – Systek‘s ‘The Sea Of Luminescence’ album. The American producer has put out 13 originals as well as remixes from Azuruk, Static:Reset, Inval3d, and Imperium, nearly all covering different aspects of downtempo music. Whether it’s the deep dubstep vibe of ‘The Abyss Hungers’ and ‘Bodies Amongst The Wreckage’, the housey tip on ‘Reflex’ or the beautiful melancholy of ‘Remnants Of Home’, all thirteen Systek tunes are fantastic. As for the remixes – the four producers put takes on the two heaviest beats on the record and as such, they’ve all stepped either ‘Sovereign’ or ‘Mechanized Wasteland’ up a notch. Very cool album – there’s something on it for everyone and I’m stoked to have it for free. Grab it below.
