Perth future soul guru Sid Pattni has teamed up with the amazingly recognisable vocals of Melbourne’s Meg Mac for his latest single ‘Go Back Home’ for Pilerats Records. It’s just the imprint’s second release, but by teaming up with a kid who lives and breathes music and who’s already been remixed by local-yet-international lord Ta-Ku, they’ve clearly showcased the direction that their music wants to go.

The tune is available for a free download for just a limited time, and is a futuristic, downtempo, soulful heartbreaker – a beautiful start to 2014. Sid’s certainly proving himself to be a force in the next wave of local producers, and this bit is full of gorgeous vibes.
