Disco king Todd Terje finally announces debut album

Last year he released the ‘Strandbar‘ EP, the ‘Spiral’ two-tracker as well as boasting a killer Essential Mix, but everyone’s favourite Scandinavian disco revisionist Todd Terje has yet to bless us with a full-length.

Following a considerable streak that dates back as far as 2004, the nordic stargazer has finally announced that the playful title of his debut record ‘It’s Album Time’ will release dopamine in brains across the globe on April 8 on his own Olsen imprint. Set to be 12 tracks of sunny, spangly nu-disco, as well as fruity album art, a surprising inclusion on the tracklist comes from Roxy Music papa Bryan Ferry, who contributes vocals on a cover of Robert Palmer’s ‘Johnny And Mary’.

Whilst there are some other familiar titles over the record like last year’s ‘Inspector Norse’, you can listen to his long-overdue BBC Radio 1 mix below to get you prepped for the big day.

Tracklisting:
01. Intro (It’s Album time)
02. Leisure Suit Preben
03. Preben Goes To Acapulco
04. Svensk Sås
05. Strandbar
06. Delorean Dynamite
07. Johnny and Mary (feat. Bryan Ferry)
08. Alfonso Muskedunder
09. Swing Star part I
10. Swing Star part II
11. Oh Joy
12. Inspector Norse
