Daft Punk Set for Rare Performance in Early 2014

We can CONFIRM! Daft Punk will be playing music live at the 2014 GRAMMY awards. Yep, it will be the first time the very much reclusive robots have got their tin ass butts on the box since 2008 when they performed a track at the very same awards with narcissistic rapper/ranter Yeezus aka Kanye Kardashian West.

The date coincides with Australia Day (26th of January), with the French folks killing two birds with one stone by having four Grammy nominations including ‘Album Of The Year’, ‘Best Dance/Electronica Album’ for ‘Random Access Memories’, ‘Record Of The Year’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ for ‘Get Lucky’ (check out the rest of the nominations here).

Let’s hope this appearance is unlike their hyped performance at the MTV Euro VMA’s that turned out to be a mere preview of their music video clip.

Daft Punk were one of Hype Machines ‘Most Blogged Artists of 2013. Any guesses where they place? Hint: They weren’t number 1!
