Following an Australian tour and a slew of awesome releases, dubstep stalwart and Rinse FM don J:Kenzo will be back on November 18 with his next double-single for Tempa. ‘Magneto (Feel It)’ leans in with that minimal sound also favoured by Youngsta, Kryptic Minds and SP:MC, and is among the most shockingly minimal tracks he’s crafted to date. Flipside ‘TVR’ is more nimble, reminding us of Mensah and Loefah‘s old skool NYC aesthetics on Lobster Boy and Swamp81 with heavy-rolling electro and bass-house swing. It draws to the fore Kenzo’s techno-inspired side: halfway through it explodes into propulsive action, with a spiraling electro-ish rhythm switching the track’s energy into overdrive.
