All eyes and ears were fixed upon Nile Rodgers and Disclosure when it was announced their would be a collaboration to be released in 2013, and it is finally here for us all to drool over.

The track entitled ‘Together’ is a slow tempo and very funky groove that is dressed up in a real ‘Miami Vice’ fashion through the retro-sheik film clip. The track is also featuring Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes, and is a real change from the familiar Disclosure sound, and their more recent banger “Apollo”. I guess Nile is quite influential in the studio.

Any critisism on this track would have too be its short 2-and-a-half minute duration which does no justice when it starts too excite you then simply finishes up. Bit of a downer, but aside from that it’s a big thumbs up from my part!
