Duck Sauce To Release 34 Demos On Iconic 70’s Record Label

‘Duck Tape’ is wittily what Duck Sauce are calling their 34 unreleased demos out on a retro orange cassette (and digitally but let’s face it, a cassette is way cooler!).

Coming out November 5th on the reformed Casablanca Records – a label famous for pushing albums in the 70’s including Donna Summer, who was recently remixed by Hot Chip and Miley Cyrus’s no.1 tongue poking competitor Kiss. The release also includes the duo, Armand Van Helden and A-Trak’s hit singles “It’s You” and more recently “Radio Stereo”.

A connect to Casablanca, who more recently released wares from The Aston Shuffle, Kavinsky, and others could be Duck Sauce’s often throw-back sampling to obscure disco samples.

The pair were commended for their recent Essential Mix that wasn’t “made for the deep house lovers or heavy purists, but a damn good-un’ for those who enjoy the straddling of punchy dance tracks, retro vibes and the obligatory steel drums input.”

Tee and Tape available for pre purchase for a measly US$25, pre order here.
