Horsepower Productions ready new Album for Tempa

Horsepower

Dubstep pioneers Horsepower Productions have announced their fourth album to be released on Tempa later this year.

With previous albums ‘To The Rescue’ in 2004 and their hugely influential 2002 classic ‘In Fine Style’, their 2010 record ‘Quest To The Sonic Bounty’ was their first full-length in six years despite the 12″ ‘Kingstep / Damn It’ in 2009, and three years later Benny Ill confirmed that they are set to return in the coming months. Although no release date or album title has been confirmed yet, his interview below with BLOCK24 revealed that the group’s fourth album is sown up and ready to go, hopefully delivering dem deeep dubstep stylings and vibes of de old skool!

Huge influences in heading the darker side of the garage and dubstep movement in the early 2000s, Horsepower Productions  have collaborated on the seminal ‘Fat Larry’s Skank’ track, which has been remixed and reversioned many times by producers including Kode9, as well as collaborating with Hatcha on a number of tunes, DJing at FWD>>, and releasing more straightforward dub as part of the duo Bill & Ben.
