G. Logan‘s debut EP for Defected was released last week, and while he boasts previous production credits for the likes of Kelis, Jay Sean and Craig David, his ‘How Did We’ EP acts as further evidence of his talents. The EP includes a club mix, two versions from Jovonn and a banging remix from Friend Within, who just released his 4-track ‘The Renegade’ EP via Disclosure‘s newly founded Method Records. Favourite tune off the release is not-surprisingly Friend Within‘s take, who utilises heavily swung percussion to complement the stuttered vocals, before gradually building it into a mammoth break and what will surely be one of the bassline records of the year.
