Doing their best Swedish House Mafia impersonation, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen (related to Superbads Fogal perhaps?) have decided to revive their drum and bass pseudonym Pendulum with additional news Knife Party will also release fresh material sometime in 2014.
Sharing with Twitter (of course), Rob told fans it’s been long enough since they last released material and that the pair would look likely to share a Pendulum album sometime early next year while candidly claiming no one cared about the last and wouldn’t actually care about the next, which probably something to do with Swires own comments when calling it quits on Pendulum and moving onto Knife Party;
“[It’s] going so well we don’t really feel like going back to junior school anytime soon,”
The rather casual tweets from Rob Swire below.
We’re probably going to release another Pendulum album some time next year.

It will have been 4 years since the last one and probably no one will give a fuck, but neither do I….so it’s all good 🙂

More exciting news for us and their fans would be word that there will also be some fresh Knife Party material dropping sometime before then, a full release as well perhaps?
There will be a KP album before that also. Probably should have mentioned that first. http://t.co/tQHdDPe4bi

We will keep a close eye on things for any further developments.
