Falcon Punch’s follow up to this year’s breezy “Never Enough” is another equally lush slice of Balearic disco. This time, the Denver-based producer teamed up with newcomers Black Amex to concoct almost 7 minutes of free-flowing, smooth Mezcal beats.

There aren’t really any vocals aside from a Pink Floyd “Great Gig In the Sky” reminiscent “humming” sound that teases throughout. But it doesn’t really matter–the detailed synth and percussion work throughout shape this one.

Aptly-titled “Backstroke”, it’s ripe for those “Balearea” playlists and feels kind of like a Squeeze N Breeze during these dog days (in America) of summer.
