Pearson Sound – REM EP

Yesterday, Pearson Sound released his first EP this year; a four-track release titled REM. The EP will arrive as a follow-up to 2012’s Untitled/Footloose 12-inch on David Kennedy’s own Pearson Sound label, and despite the misleading PEARS24 catalogue number, this will be only the second single to come out on the eponymous imprint.

The London-based producer is releasing it digitally and on 12-inch. It’s already copped support from Benji B and Gilles Peterson, and keen-eared fans (like me lol) would have already heard some radio love on Rinse FM’s Hessle Audio show. It’s his first solo record since September’s Clutch EP, and in my opinion it’s a fucking good follow-up. Super solid release.
