Watch: Hermitude, Basenji, Black Vanilla and Seekae Boiler Room Australia Set

Boiler Room have uploaded the second set of Sydney shows from their stint downunder that showcased genre blending turn-tablists Hermitude who managed to turn Club 77 into a sweaty mess following performances from live three piece Black Vanilla, Basenji (interview recount here) and a Seekae DJ set.

Hermitudes set itself was just that, a fusion of Hip Hop patterns stitched together with electronic beats with cuts taken from their standout debut album ‘HyperParadise’ as well new material on the way and a great display of what we’re cooking down here in Australia. Hermitude remain one of the few acts that can successfully utilise turn tables, keys, vocoders and controllers smoothly and into a presentable set!

Major props go out to the crowd THAT ACTUALLY DANCED and Boiler Room for always bringing the vibes, not so much the big voguing oaf standing in front of me for Hermitudes set.

Watch Hermitude below as well as clips of Basenji, Black Vanilla and Seekae DJ set. You can also catch videos of the Melbourne and Perth takeovers on Boiler Room.
