Through the last six months Twitter has gotten a little wild spending big and eating up great services like TV Analytics company BlueFin and music aggregator We Are Hunted – the later of which is purportedly being put to use for a new music streaming service.

We Are Hunted doesn’t look to be available now, a sign of Twitter already working with/on the site perhaps?

The new service toted as ‘Twitter Music’ by CNN will suggest artists and songs personalised to your account ie if you follow Daft Punk, you’ll be given the latest and greatest streamed directly from Soundcloud.

You’ll be able to get your discover on with other tabs within the app that display ‘Popular’ (trending) and ‘Emerging’ (strong early growth).  Adding to this you will be able to scour what your followers are listening to with the now official #nowplaying hashtag, yay!
