Touch Sensitive Releases “Pizza Guy” EP On Future Classic

Fuck Nu Disco–it’s all about the PIZZA DISCO today. Cause Touch Sensitive just came through with that Big Sausage Pizza! Yep: that “mystery track” on Classixx’s Immaculate Selection (arguably the mix of the year) and the opener from Goldroom’s Saguero Mix has finally been unveiled. And of course it’s none other than a long-awaited follow up release from Touch Sensitive on Future Classic. Combining elements of Nu Disco and Dreamwave, its a head-nodder and a rump-shaker that relies on some PHAT, pulsating synth work. It also sort of sounds like Toro Y Moi and Aeroplane had a baby, which is very cool.

It’s just another top notch release out of Australia/Future Classic that loses the cliched Nu Disco cowbell and replaces it with a special, rising talent with his own innovative sound. And as an added bonus, has perhaps the best song title this year: “Pizza Guy.” Now I don’t know if Touch Sensitive used to be an Australian pizza boy or what (like Flight Facilities), but coming from someone who’s delivered his share of pies in the past: this is simply fantastic pizza delivery music. In a no cheese zone:

The flip sides packs some hand clappin’ pepperoni as well.

The package is out on Vinyl, Juno, and Beatport and also includes a derp remix by Lauer.
