Stream Avicii’s New Album Before Its Official Release

It’s been almost six months since we heard the majority of Avicii‘s new album for the first time, but today thanks to iTunes NZ we now have a high-quality stream before its official release on September 17 through Universal locally.

The record, titled TRUE, features vocal work from an abstract cast with Nile Rodgers, Adam Lambert, Audra Ma, Aloe Blacc on the monster ‘Wake Me Up’ track, MØ, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, Mike Einziger of Incubus all included just to name a few, and is a 12-track journey through the loved – and less-loved – worlds of folk, pop, country and commercial house.

Getting a release on his manager Ash Pournouri’s newly founded PRMD Records, highlights (in my opinion) range from his collaboration with Dan Tyminski on ‘Hey Brother’ to the feel-good anthem ‘Dear Boy’ with MØ, as well as the more original-sounding Avicii in ‘Hope There’s Someone’, featuring Linnea Henriksson.
