Lithuania’s President Has Now Weighed In On The Ten Walls Discussion

The Ten Walls saga has hit fever pitch with political powers now getting involved surrounding THAT Facebook comment in which Ten Walls compared homosexuality to paedophilia and has essentially ended the producers once bright career.

International festivals HARD, Mysteryland, Sonar, Creamfields and more were quick to act in removing Ten Walls from his booked shows, with artists also showing their dismay at the narrow comments made.

More unexpectedly Lithuania’s president, Dalia Grybauskaitė has weighed in on the discussion with a more than surprising statement telling media;

“I believe the incident benefits the state in a way that, in this country, we are becoming more and more open in our discussions about how insular we are, our intolerance of people who are different, as well as homophobia.  I believe discussions are a healthy thing, we need more of them, as the sooner Lithuania becomes more open and more tolerant, the better it will be for the country.”

Dalia Grybauskaitė for President!!!…. Oh wait. She already is!
