The Presets Release New Track

In 2008, the Australian music scene saw a small change occur – a band who had always been in its peripheral vision was suddenly catapulted to the front, becoming one of the country’s most popular duos. That band are The Presets and you have no idea how exciting it is to announce that they are back with a brand new track ‘Goodbye Future’.

A slightly calmer track as opposed to the likes of ‘Beams’ and ‘Apocalypso’, ‘Goodbye Future’ see’s the Sydneysiders take a more melodic approach. It’s been a huge day for the boys as well, not only releasing a brand new track, but announcing their headline presence on the mammoth installation of the 2014 Groovin’ The Moo festival, which is set to tour regional Australia later this year.

In addition to their festival tour, the group are touring nationally with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, presenting a show called ‘Timeline’ only days after GTM finishes.

With this banging new track in hand, it isn’t clear if this is a taster from a new album or just a spontaneous release, either way we’re bloody stoked. Even more that The Presets will actually feature on Dillon Francis’ forthcoming debut album sometime this year.
