Back in October we copped a look at a double disc track listing for a compilation of dance producers teaming up for a great cause. The album entitled ‘Boats’ will feature a slew of big dogs – including, Four Tet, Rustie, Gang Gang Dance and a stack of other talented producers. The muso’s have lent their hand to charity in creating original works based on samples taken from the ‘Love of Light’ Children’s Choir   – an Indian group funded by charity.

Rustie has just released his track for the compilation via SoundCloud and YouTube, entitled  ‘Boatsss’. It’s another gem from the Scot who has had an absolutely stellar year.

Definitely getting behind this one, as all money raised from the double-disc compilation is designed to aid children in South-East India. The full album drops on January 20th. For the time being, we’re just going to have to enjoy Rustie’s contribution and hope that it can stimulate some ‘boat’ related discussion that doesn’t concern Federal Government.
