Azealia Banks Spits The Dummy In Sydney, Again..

An artist who is becoming synonymous with her tantrum filled trips to Australia has yet again disappointed her fans after walking off stage at the opening Listen Out party in Sydney. The Interscope signed artist who has had her Twitter account monitored and largely censored by the label stopped playing after a person in the crowd threw a second beer can on stage after a first warning.

The last time she was here, she accused old school Manchester rock band The Stone Roses of trying to sabotage her show at the Sydney leg of the Future Music Festival.

Her biggest mistake at the festival was inadvertently egging the crowd on by saying after the first can was thrown mid way through her song ‘1991’ (along the lines of) “If anyone throws any more shit on stage I’m going to end the performance” and in true Australian larrikin humour someone had to push the boundary.

For the sake of her wallet and the fact that she was only 15 minutes into her performance on stage, Banks returned to the stage after Fuzzy owner John Wall came out to speak to the audience encouraging the crowd not to throw anything. The Harlem based rapper/cry baby returned for “212” and left in a puff once again. Luckily for patrons, Duke Dumont came on early and killed it and everyone had a great time while Azealia probably had a tanty in her hotel room.

Peep her latest offering “Count Contessa” from her highly anticipated album here.
