Dubfire To Play Future Music Festival 2014?

Looks like Iranian, American DJ and producer Dubfire, real name Ali Shirazinia could be playing next years Future Music Festival after a keen fan squeezed out a possible Australian stop in March, the exact same month the festival makes it’s way around our great brown land!

It was super fan Geoff Lester who queried at the end of June when the house and techno producer was returning after catching the veteran DJ back in Brissy circa 2008. To his and our excitement he told Geoff it’d be March.

Although the tweet has been deleted, Geoff was clever enough to take a screenshot you’ll see below.

Future Music have promised a big year telling their Facebook fans “Every year we work hard to up the ante on the line-up we deliver for Future Music Festival in March and I gotta say we’re looking good to hit the ball right out of the park when announce next year’s blockbuster!”

Another possible player for the festival is Depeche Mode after Harvest and Soundwave Festival owner AJ Maddah told fans that the seminal UK band were heading to Australia but not through his own channels. We’ve got our own thoughts that Deadmau5 will also be making the trip downunder after a long touring hiatus.

Who else do you want to see on the Future Music Festival lineup for 2014?
