I don’t really get what’s going on here, EDM superstar Avicii’s latest single ‘Wake Me Up’ has just had the Official Video Premiered on Vevo.

It’s the first single from his debut album ‘True’ which is set for release in September and honestly, I don’t get it. Featuring vocals from Aloe Blacc and guitar work from Incubus’ Mike Einziger ‘Wake Me Up’ is redneck country twang combined with signature festival banging Avicii drops. The video has some serious Ralph Lauren brand placement and focuses on two sisters riding horses from their little house in the country to the 2012 Ultra Music Festival. It’s all a bit too unusual for me but we’ll see how Avicii fans react over the coming weeks.
