Isn’t it great when artists expand their styles and bring something new to the table? Deadmau5’s remix of Nine Inch Nails ‘Survivalism’ is not what you expect, there is no thumping floor kick, there is no side chained bass, there is not anything in it at all that makes you want to dance till your legs give out, which is what makes this quite an interesting listen. I don’t want to build up on expectations here for you guys, but one thing worth commenting on, is a beautifully created ambience, that is both raw and dark.
