Elefant Traks signed duo Hermitude are breaking into the dance scene in a big way with their catchy dance floor filler ‘Speak of the devil‘.
Drawing influences from a strong hip hop and dub culture in the Blue Mountains (2 hours out of Sydney) and with the use of old Analog Synths, nice compressors, tasty vintage electronics, Hermitude have found the right blend to create a sound that is very much for the now!
An interesting excerpt from their journeys revealed in 2006 they managed to get their car broken into in France by Gypsies with laptop and synth stolen causing them to write new songs on the road for the live show they had left. Those songs became their 2nd EP and 4th release – Rare Sightings (2007)
Speak of the devil is extremely infectious in singing along to as well as vibing. I challenge you not to get addicted to this!
